Allyn Merida began her dance training at the age of 4. She was a competitive dancer and is trained in various styles, including Flamenco, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, and Acro. Ms. Allyn is a dedicated dance educator and an award-winning choreographer. She has a B.A. in Theatre & Dance from Rowan University. After graduating, she worked for Dance With Me Studios, which is owned by Dancing with the Stars brothers Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy. Besides her role at Art of Dance, she is a first grade teacher at Far Hills Country Day School and serves as the director and choreographer for all their school musical productions. Ms.Allyn truly enjoys working with students of all ages and sharing her passion for dance with them!
