Colette Boudreaux began dancing as a toddler in Knoxville, TN, making her professional stage debut at age 5. Studying 10 different styles of dance throughout her training, she began teaching at her home studio as a teen, gaining national titles in dance competitions and traveling to conventions to hone her skills. Initially establishing a career in opera and musical theatre, she attained her master’s degree in vocal performance at Manhattan School of Music, taking classes from Frances Patrelle of Dances Patrelle Ballet Company. While in NYC, she was chosen to perform under the direction of Tony and Emmy Award-winning director, George Faison, for the opening of his Harlem theatre.

Briefly relocating to NC, she choreographed Asheville Lyric Opera’s Sound of Music to glowing reviews. After moving to PA, she was cast as Anybodys and Dance Captain for West Side Story in St. Petersburg, FL, a performance for which she was nominated for a Theatre Tampa Bay Award. While under studio contract, her competition routines were platinum and title-award winning for multiple years. She most recently choreographed Oberlin Conservatory’s March 2023 performance of Candide. She runs an arts consultation studio where she specializes in college audition and preparation. A member of Actor’s Equity Association, she is a director, choreographer, freelance performer for stage and tv, and educator.
