After graduating from high school and attending AOD, Ellen Mulvihill majored in dance performance at Oklahoma City University. In college, she had the privilege of being the “Pep Director” of a student run/choreographed dance team, and she was the also Dance Captain and “Deputy” of the dance company within her program (“American Spirit Dance Company”). In 2015 Ellen performed as an ensemble and featured dancer for Lyric Theater of Oklahoma in their summer stock production of “Oklahoma”. After graduating from college, Ellen immediately began working with RWS Entertainment Group, and Holland America Line performing on three different cruise ship contracts around the world. For her first two contracts she was the assistant dance captain, followed by being the dance captain for her third contract. Since working with RWS she has had the privilege of learning and performing an aerial silks solo on all three contracts! Ellen began teaching dance during her time at AOD, and has continued teaching and choreographing ever since! Ellen says, “I honestly have so much to thank Valerie for, because I wouldn’t be where I am today without my time and training at AOD!”
