Jordan Pittari is a Brooklyn-born dancer, choreographer, and educator whose work aims to bridge technical proficiency with deep artistic inquiry. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Stockton University, where she has performed works by acclaimed choreographers including José Limón, Lauren Putty White, Meredith Rainey, Beau Hancock, and Rain Ross, as well as presenting original choreography such as Are YOU There?. A high school graduate of the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, Jordan trained extensively in Horton, Limon, Graham, and Ballet techniques under faculty affiliated with the Martha Graham Dance Company, Limon Dance Company, and American Theatre Ballet. Her childhood training is further enriched by professional development at Joffrey Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, and Gibney Dance, and mentorship from Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Jason Samuels Smith.

Jordan’s choreographic work has been recognized with awards including the “Living Legacy” Award for Girl Behind the Mask, being featured at Stockton University in the Spring Dance Concert with Are YOU There?, as well as national competition recognition. She has performed at renowned venues such as Madison Square Garden, Citi Field, and Peridance, and appeared in music videos and television. As a dedicated performer and educator, Jordan prioritizes inclusivity, artistic growth, and somatic awareness in her teaching, aiming to develop versatile, critically engaged artists. Whether in performance or the studio, her mission is to inspire dancers to explore movement as a language of expression, identity, and transformation.
