Mrs. Teperikidou holds a BFA in Dance, majoring in Ballet Pedagogy from the Professional Dance Academy, Greece. In 2002 she moved to New York to continue her professional career and further her education pursuits. She holds a certification in Simonson Technique from Dance Space Center, NY and a certification in movement analysis and notation from the Laban Institute of Movement Studies, NY. Mrs. Teperikidou has a Master’s in Dance Education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education with a concentration in Higher Education. She has attended teachers’ workshops at The National Ballet School of Canada, American Academy of Ballet, Miami City Ballet, ABT, New York City Center, NYCB and the Paris Opera Ballet School. Her students have attended  programs at JKO, Julliard, Tisch School of the Arts and SAB. Mrs. Teperikidou is a judge for several competitions nationally and internationally and has coached and choreographed pieces that were presented at YAGP locally and nationwide. She has taught in dance institutions such as American Ballet Theater, School of American Ballet, Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet and many other schools in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Furthermore, she is a certified New York City Ballet Workout Instructor, a Zena Rommett Floor Barre Instructor, a Progressive Ballet Technique teacher as well as an ABT certified teacher for levels Primary through 5. Mrs. Teperikidou is currently a guest teacher and choreographer at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and a Part Time Lecturer in Ballet Technique at the BFA program at Mason Gross Schools of the Arts, Rutgers University.
